About me

I'm currently an Assistant Professor in the Pure Math department at the University of Waterloo, and a member of the IQC. Previously I've been a Research Assistant Professor at IQC, a Krener Assistant Professor at UC Davis, a visiting student/researcher at UBC, and a grad student at UC Berkeley.

Teaching and office hours

For the Fall 2017 term, I'm teaching MATH 235. My office hours will be held in MC 5426 on Mondays from 10:30-11:50am (or by appointment). See my teaching page for information on past teaching.

Research interests

I'm interested in Lie theory, algebraic combinatorics, and the mathematics of quantum information theory. Currently I'm mainly working on non-local games. Some other topics I've worked on include representations of Kac-Moody groups and algebras, Schubert varieties, Coxeter groups, and hyperplane arrangements. For more information, see my research page or my papers.

I have a twitter account which I use (very) occasionally.
